From 28 July to 2 August, Bank Alfalah Legends Arena became the center of competitive padel in Karachi as the Meydan Homes Legends Open Padel 2026 brought together players from across Pakistan for one of the biggest weeks on the country’s padel calendar.
Presented by Meydan Homes | Patel Group, in partnership with Chery, Domino’s, and Gatorade, the tournament brought juniors, emerging players, and some of Pakistan’s leading names onto the same stage.
But the week extended well beyond the matches. Packed courts, families in the stands, player conversations, partner activations, and a community that stayed engaged from the opening rounds through to the finals gave the tournament an atmosphere of its own.
From the Group Stages to the Finals
Competition opened with the Category B and B+ group stages before the tournament moved through its remaining divisions and into the knockout rounds.
The format created six days of continuous play, with the intensity building as the draws narrowed and the biggest matches moved onto center court.
There were established names, new pairings, junior talent, and players making deep runs across multiple categories. By the closing stages, the courts and surrounding areas were packed as the tournament moved towards its final matches.
The result was exactly what the Legends Open is intended to create: serious competition played in front of a community invested in the sport.

Eight categories produced eight sets of champions, with the tournament showcasing the depth of padel now developing across different ages and levels in Pakistan.

Part of what makes the Legends Open different is everything surrounding the competition.
Players were mic’d up, matches were streamed live, and conversations with players and coaches gave audiences a closer look at the personalities behind the game, while spectators experienced the tournament from courtside throughout the week.
Chery brought its vehicle lineup to Legends Arena for exclusive test drives, while Domino’s, Gatorade, and Markhor were integrated across the tournament experience.
These partnerships allowed the Open to operate as more than a series of matches. They helped create a complete sporting event around the competition that gave players a bigger stage, spectators more ways to engage, and partners a meaningful presence within the padel community.
