Empower Her Future: Karachi Cup U-19 Women’s School Futsal Championship

The inaugural Karachi Cup U19 Women’s School Futsal Championship, held on January 25–26, 2025, at Legends Arena, showcased the burgeoning talent of young female footballers in Pakistan. Organized by Karachi City FC in collaboration with Legends Arena, the event featured seven schools competing in a spirited display of skill and sportsmanship.

Tournament Highlights

The group stages saw participation from Beaconhouse Jubilee, Karachi Grammar School (KGS), Discovery Centre, Cedar College, Nixor, Sceptre, and Haque Academy. Advancing to the semi-finals were Nixor, Cedar, Haque Academy, and KGS. In the knockout rounds, Haque Academy secured a 3-0 victory against Nixor, while KGS dominated Cedar College with a 5-0 win. The final witnessed KGS clinching the championship title with an impressive 6-0 triumph over Haque Academy.

The championship was made possible through the support of esteemed sponsors, including the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi, Ubank, Upaisa, and COP28 UAE. Their contributions were instrumental in promoting gender equality, youth engagement, and skill development through sports.
